Allergens The allergens are large and complex particles such as  pollens, molds, dust mites, insects, food materials animal epthelia and drugs / chemicals.  In many cases, avoidance is preferred method of treatment in any form of allergy. Where allergens can not be avoided Credisol range of allergens offers the first choice of allergy management.  We are marketing a wide range of 220 allergens for skin prick testing and allergens specific immunotherapy and 650 patch test allergens to confirm provisional diagnosis of allergic contact dermatitis.  These allergens are standardized as per the norms laid down by WHO.  These allergens are being manufactured as per state of art of technology of Allergopharma- West Germany. The allergens can be used effectively for the diagnosis and treatment of various allergic disorders.  These are formulated as skin prick test allergens aqueous extracts for immunotherapy and patch testing under the brand “CREDISOL”.

Diagnostics

• Skin Prick Test Allergens
  The diagnosis of allergic disease is made, primarily, by performing a detailed history and physical examination.  The confirmation of presence of specific IgE antibodies directed towards inhalants or food allergens is implicated in the history.  Causative factors (allergens) can be identified by performing allergy testing (skin prick testing).  Skin prick testing remains the most useful method of establishing specific causative allergens.
  
  Allergy skin tests can be performed by placing a drop on the marked skin  and inserting sterile blood lancet through the drop into the superficial skin and withdrawing with a slight lifting of the skin.  Skin test reaction appears in the form of weal and erythema formation.  The size of weal reaction will indicate the degree of allergenicity of the allergen.  On the basis of skin test results, an allergist can decide the course of
  treatment. 

• Patch test allergens
  Patch test allergens are used to confirm the provisional diagnosis of allergic contact dermatitis and to identify offending allergens.  The classic patch test is consists of applying the allergens to a piece of cloth that is placed on the back, covered with an impermeable material affixed with tape and removed after 48 hours.  Skin test response is graded using criteria established by International contact Dermatitis Research Group.
  
  Avoidance of the allergen is the primary treatment for contact dermatitis.

Therapeutics

Allergens immunotherapy remains the only choice of treatment, where avoidance is impractical, which alters the immunity of the body.

Aqueous allergens extracts are formulated as per prescription issued by an allergist based on allergic reactions to the environmental substances such as pollen dust, mites, fungal spores, insects tings etc.  The treatment extracts are supplied according to prescription.  Each prescription is dispensed to extract specification under aseptic conditions.  Each treatment is individually formulated which consists of 4 vials of 4.5 ml each.  The composition pattern designed by us are based on latest accepted techniques of immunotherapy.
 

Peripheral

As per doctor’s request we provide standard sterile concentrate allergens extract for formulation of treatment / maintenance set as per their patient’s requirement.  Diluent fluids for diluting the allergens extracts are also available on short notice.  Beside this, we also providing sterile pricking lancets, reaction measuring scale and other related service items.
